Privacy — KinScore (FamilyShield AI)
Last updated: 14 October 2026
KinScore (the FamilyShield AI app, at kinscore.live) is an educational tool that helps a family see a simple protection picture from answers they type in. It does not sell anything, and it is not financial advice.
Your answers stay on your device
The questions you answer and the score they produce are stored only in your own browser (local storage on your phone or computer), so you can pick up where you left off. They are not sent to us, and we run no server that stores them. The app's "Erase everything" option (tap twice) deletes them from your device.
What leaves your device, and only when you ask
- Listen / Watch buttons: when you press one, the narration text (your score summary in words — no names) is sent to ElevenLabs, our voice provider, which reads it aloud and returns the audio. Nothing is sent until you press the button.
- Optional sign-in: if you choose "Save or sync" and sign in with Google or Facebook, those companies handle your login on their own pages. We receive your name, email address and profile picture to show that you are signed in. We never see or store your password. Sign-in is never required to use the app.
- Sharing: if you tap Share, your own score and the app link go only to the app or person you choose.
- Hosting: the site is served by Netlify, which keeps standard technical server logs (like IP address and browser type) to run and protect the service.
What we do not do
- No advertising, no trackers, no selling or renting of data.
- No collecting of answers, scores, or money figures on a server.
- No access to your contacts, photos, or files.
Your choices
You can use the whole app without signing in. You can erase your answers at any time with "Erase everything" in the app. You can remove the app's access from your Google account (Google Account → Security → Third-party access) or Facebook account (Settings → Apps and Websites) at any time.
